Egg Fast (from I Breathe … I'm Hungry)

So, this week Melissa from I Breathe … I’m Hungry has been on an egg fast and I’ve read every single one of her posts.  I was curious how she would be able to do it without getting so sick of eggs (I do and I don’t eat nearly enough to survive JUST on eggs for even one day).  Some of the recipes she came up with are PERFECT for a keto diet (High fat, low carb, moderate protein) and anyone on Atkins who is trying to work up something different to add to their menu.
So, here are her posts from this week:
Basic explanation of her egg fast.

  1. Help – on the eggfast for 4 days now – never had the keto stick showed any color – lost 6 lbs though – now after 4 bottles of spring water gained 3 lbs! What am I doing wrong – stuck to the eggfast explicit – thanks Debbie

    1. I have never done the egg fast. I shared the post to give us all some egg recipe variety. When you go low carb, you lose water weight initially. That’s why some people get dehydrated and have to supplement with chicken broth. It’s important to drink water from day one and keep at it. Once your body realizes it is getting enough fluids, it will stop retaining them (your 3 pound gain). And I am so sorry it took me this long to respond to your question.
